Constructive feedback for AAWA leadership (IMHO)

1 - reconsider your existence - there might be a reason why the most effective resources to date have been solo efforts.

2 - recognize that even well-intentioned organizations will firstly seek self-preservation.

3 - be aware that egos and emotional stupidity have torn apart much grander edifices than aawa.

really, this should be easy if you have the cd rom (i don't).. somewhere in the societies publications, they try to denigrate the reliability of an ancient tablet by citing a source which shows big gaps in the translation (lots of [] and .

's) evidently because this tablet was so beat up and broken, half the words are missing, thus secular historical records are worthless, trust the bible.. if i remember this correctly, the actual source of the quote goes on to say something to the effect of 'fortunately the obverse side of the tablet contains all the information in tact' - a fact the wt conveniently leaves out.. i had thought this quote was either from insight or the all scripture book, but i can't find it in either.

anyone know what publication this is from?

i think the problem is, as before, how the aawa is handling things and refusing to answer your critics makes things worse.

critics are not people out to get you, they are critical of something that you have done or given the appearance of doing and pr is the job of responding to address the criticisms.. this is the internet people, you can't just pretend that things didn't happen by deleting the comments!

especially not with a group that wants to claim to offer support and be open and honest.

Thanks for reposting SIMON's statement. I wasn't aware of it, and he really does make some great points.

I think the one key characteristic that ANY organaztion (corporation, small business, school, nonprofit) must have in the Internet/Information Age is agility. You have to be able to stop in your tracks and do a complete 180° when neccessary without even looking back; and you need good people who are confident enough to have the true flexibility required in an ever-changing environment.

Fortunately, the Watchtower is not at all agile. They about as inflexible and unyielding as they get. This does not bode well for them.

I think anyone who mounts a fight against Watchtower needs to be agile and flexible so they can exploit this huge weakness in their structure. If they're going to be as inflexible and unyielding as Watchtower is, it's difficult to see what advantage they have over them.
